A group of dancers appears seemingly out of nowhere in the public space. What begins as an everyday street scene slowly transforms. Bodies accelerate, slow down, roll, glide and run alongside and through one another. Together, the dancers explore different ways of moving, with a variety of bodies, rhythms and possibilities.

WIJ ZIJN HIER was created by the Community of Speels Collectief, a diverse mixed-abled group in which people with and without disabilities work together. Starting from each individual's possibilities, Speels Collectief questions social norms and searches for new perspectives. For a moment, the street becomes a place where everyone can take up space and learn to look differently at bodies, movement and one another.
