Tilburg gets its own dance festival

Dansdagen Tilburg descends upon the city

From October 9 to 11, Tilburg will be dedicated to dance for three days. Tilburg Dansstad presents Dansdagen Tilburg, part of the Nederlandse Dansdagen: a celebration of, for, and by the city, featuring dance on stage, in the streets, in the DansDome at the Stadsforum, and everywhere in between.

Tilburg Dansstad, consisting of DansBrabant, Factorium, Fontys Academy of the Arts, and Schouwburg & Concertzaal Tilburg, joins forces with De Nieuwe Vorst and De Danspunt to show just how rich dance can be.

Dansdagen Tilburg is made possible in part by the Cultuurfonds, Provincie Noord-Brabant, Ondernemersfonds, CiST, Anny en Tiny van Doornefonds and Boekenschop.

A festival for everyone

For three days, Tilburg is all about dance. From special performances and surprising encounters to workshops, conversations, and activities where you can get moving yourself. Dansdagen Tilburg brings together creators, dance enthusiasts, and curious visitors to discover and celebrate the versatility of Dutch dance.

Dance in Tilburg: a natural fit

With a strong, thriving dance scene, Tilburg is a natural partner for this new national initiative. The inaugural edition of Dansdagen Tilburg, part of the Dutch Dance Days (Nederlandse Dansdagen), features a blend of performances, networking opportunities, and in-depth programming that reflects the spirit of both Tilburg and the Dutch Dance Days: innovative, diverse, and accessible.

Dansdagen Tilburg is made possible with the support of Het Cultuurfonds, the Province of North Brabant, Ondernemersfonds, CiST, the Tiny and Anny van Doorne Foundation, Boekenschop, the Sluyterman van Loo Foundation, the BNG Cultuurfonds and T*Agency.
