The Last Word with Joop van der Kuip

After a theatre performance, there is loud applause at the end. The curtain falls, everyone leaves the auditorium and on the way to the bar we ask each other: What did you think? We often respond superficially with a few words: It was fun, wonderful, or maybe it's not really my thing.

To take more time to reflect on what has been seen, to unwind, to speak one’s mind, or to listen to the observations of others, The Last Word is now being organised. After the performance, you are welcome to take your drink with you to the foyer, where Joop van der Kuip — teacher of Philosophy & Dutch at the Odulphuslyceum, lecturer in Dutch didactics & teacher of Cultural History at Tilburg University, and singer–guitarist — will engage in conversation with the audience. His aim is to explore and gather a range of experiences in order to reach a shared conclusion. For by exchanging perspectives, you learn more about both yourself and others.

The Last Word lasts approximately 20 to 25 minutes, is free to attend, and takes place following the following performances:
