Daan van der Hoeven has his life in order. For his standards. He actually manages to get out of bed in the morning, is no longer so depressed and even seems to be quite happy. But how do you do that, being a bit happy, when you have to reinvent yourself over and over again? 
In Mensenmens, Daan van der Hoeven takes you on a humorous and sharp‑edged search for self‑knowledge. With recognisable and personal stories, he shows how we think we have finally figured ourselves out—only to realise that we are back where we started. Or, as ChatGPT puts it: “Life is not a puzzle to solve, but a game to play.” Could that be the essence of life?

Daan is a member of Comedy Club Haug, winner of the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival and works behind the scenes at De Avondshow met Arjen Lubach. With his extraordinary improvisations and sharp audience interaction he has developed into a unique voice in the cabaret world – and on social media has built up a considerable group of fans.

Last year Daan was still in the Studio, now he gets to shine in the large Schouwburg! And extra fun: for this tour he brings a young talent with him in the support act.

Whether this performance has an interval is not yet known.
