Ayoub Kharkhach (1998) is a cabaret artist and Muslim. He grew up in Gouda as the youngest of four and studied at the Higher Agricultural School in ’s‑Hertogenbosch. Without any notable theatre experience, he won both the jury and audience award of the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival in 2024. The jury called him “a wonderful storyteller with courage”.
